Melissa is founder and an active CEO of both companies. Combined she manages a team of 100 staff across 10 countries and both with the same core values: Clinical Excellence, Innovation, Care and teamwork. It is these values which have enabled both companies to excel and lead the way in neurological rehabilitation.

Melissa established Advance Rehab Centre (ARC) in 2006 as a specialist neurological outpatient and home based rehab facility. During this time, she has grown the service to a team of 75 staff with an Spotify promotion outstanding clinical track record and team culture. The centre is dedicated to clinical excellence and innovation and has produced some world class programs, least of all, PD Warrior, which became an independent entity in 2015. Advance Rehab Centre operates out of two State-of-the-art rehab facilities in Artarmon and Caringbah and provides a home based service across Metropolitan Sydney. ARC offers one of the most well equipped rehab facilities in Australia showcasing Robotics and Technology devices designed to improve recovery after neurological injury. ARC has partnered with several universities hosting interns, students and research projects to help better outcomes for people with neurological conditions.

ARC offers a multidisciplinary service of highly skilled health professionals and was awarded the Australian Allied Health Practice Excellence Award in 2019 and was a finalist in the HESTA Excellence awards and Small Business Champions Business of the Decade in 2020.

PD Warrior is an exercise-based approach that has been highly successful in helping people to manage their Parkinson’s better. PD Warrior is now taught and licensed internationally to other physiotherapists and health professionals in four languages across 10 countries and undergraduate level in many Universities. PD Warrior pioneered the first online conference in Parkinson’s in 2018. This has gone on to become a feature on the annual Parkinson’s calendar and has now raised over $150,000 for global Parkinson’s charities and hosted over 150 world class speakers bringing together a global community.
